Projects
There are projects available to suit volunteers of all ages and inclinations – whether practical, hands-on conservation, assistance with original field research or knowledge-sharing via the desktop.
Habitat regeneration
See the “Get involved” page for practical projects such as weeding in conservation reserves.
Scientific research
Scientists from numerous disciplines visit Norfolk Island frequently, partly because its natural history is distinctive and partly because of the insights it can offer into wider phenomena such as the condition of coral reefs.
For example, Monash University has been sponsoring a project on the indigenous Morepork Owl.
