The second edition of this checklist was published in 1986 by the Society, with assistance from the Australian National Parks and Wildlife Service, to incorporate additional records discovered since the first edition in 1985. The sterling work of Editor Neil Hermes and of Margaret Christian is acknowledged. As with The Environment Book, the files have been compressed to save disc space.
